Magic Tree House: The Musical - World Première 2007, USA Tour 2008
Joe has been involved in the development of Magic Tree House: The Musical in the USA. Written by his friend, Mary Pope Osborne, The Magic Tree House series of childrens’ books has been a critical and sales phenomenon for fifteen years; selling an incredible 42 million copies in the US alone.
The world première of Magic Tree House: The Musical took place in September 2007 at the Warner Theatre, Connecticut USA, and the show tours the east coast of the US from October 2008 to May 2009.
The Dead Wait - In Development
Joe is working closely with writer Paul Herzberg on mounting a new production of his striking play The Dead Wait. The play has had award winning runs in South Africa and Manchester. This production, to be produced by The Ideas Foundry, will be its first London run.
The production team are delighted to announce that Lucian Msamati has agreed to become attached to the project. Lucian can currently be seen playing the role of Ubu at the Lyric Hammersmith and is about to appear in Anthony Minghella's The Number One Ladies’ Detective Agency.
