Joe’s production of Murder on Air for the Agatha Christie Theatre Company is entering its second week at the Theatre Royal Windsor. Production photography by Matthew Eaton can be seen on the show’s production page.
26 March 2008 - Agatha Christie Theatre Company presents Murder on Air at the Theatre Royal Windsor
Joe Harmston is directing Murder on Air, a season of three Agatha Christie radio plays, at the Theatre Royal Windsor running for two weeks from Monday 21st April. Read in an authentic studio setting in the style of their original BBC broadcasts, casting includes Martin Shaw, Jenny Seagrove, Belinda Lang and Simon Linnell.
21 March 2008 - Lucian Msamati joins The Dead Wait project
Joe Harmston is pleased to announce that Lucian Msamati has agreed to become attached to The Dead Wait project. Lucian can currently be seen playing the role of Ubu at the Lyric Hammersmith and is about to appear in Anthony Minghella's The Number One Ladies’ Detective Agency. 16 Feb 2008 - And Then There Were None production page now live
The Agatha Christie Theatre Company's third production, And Then There Were None, opened at the Theatre Royal Windsor in January and has since embarked on a mammoth UK tour. Production photographs and credits are now available on the production page.
16 Feb 2008 - Sleuth production photographs online
Production photography from the UK national tour of Anthony Shaffer's Sleuth, starring Simon MacCorkindale and Michael Praed, are now available on the Sleuth production page. The show, which opened at the Theatre Royal Windsor in January, tours nationally until July 2008.
06 Jan 2008 - St Wilfrid’s Hospice Fundraising Gala pictures now online
Pictures from the fundraising gala evening to celebrate the 20th birthday of St Wilfrid’s Hospice in Chichester held at Chichester Festival Theatre in October 2007 are now available here. The cast included Patricia Routledge, James Bolam, Chris Timothy, Paul McGann and Geraldine James.
29 Nov 2007 - Magic Tree House: The Musical to tour USA
Joe has just returned from New York where meetings about the 2008/2009/2010 tours of Magic Tree House: The Musical are continuing. The next leg will open in October 2008 and tour the East coast until May 2009.
17 Nov 2007 - Michael Praed announced in tour of Sleuth
Further casting has been announced for the forthcoming national tour of Anthony Shaffer's Tony award-winning play Sleuth, directed by Joe Harmston for the Theatre Royal Windsor. Joining Simon MacCorkindale in the line-up will be Michael Praed in the role of Milo.

Joe will be directing the revival of Anthony Shaffer's Tony award-winning play Sleuth starring Simon MacCorkindale, opening at the Theatre Royal Windsor for two weeks from 22nd January 2008 prior to embarking upon a UK tour.

Joe has just joined Bronia Buchanan Associates for representation as a director. Joining this fast growing agency seems to be the perfect fit with Joe’s US representation with The Susan Gurman Agency LLC and his UK literary representation with MBA.

Joe is in Connecticut this week to complete casting and design for Magic Tree House: The Musical. The new MTH: The Musical website is about to go live (watch this space) featuring videos of the work on the show and details of the Warner Theatre production and the 2008-10 tour.
25 Jul 2007 - The Unexpected Guest Tour Extended
The Unexpected Guest tour has been extended until December and Joe has just begun rehearsing the new cast. Susan Penhaligon and Ben Nealon will star with Derren Nesbitt, Richard Blackwood (visit www.richardblackwood.co.uk for more details) and Dean Gaffney.
10 June 2007 - Magic Tree House: The Musical CD Release and Show Announcement
The concept album for Magic Tree House: The Musical has now been fully released - it is featured upon and is available to order from the PS Classics website. 19 May 2007 - Magic Tree House: The Musical CD Goes On Sale
Joe will be in New York this week to launch the Magic Tree House: The Musical CD at Barnes and Noble in Manhattan from where it will be on sale for an exclusive period. The good news is that the CD goes on general sale from the Barnes and Noble website from 5th June - pre-orders are being taken right now.
18 May 2007 - The Dead Wait by Paul Herzberg
Early details of Joe's forthcoming production of The Dead Wait are now available on the Forthcoming Projects page. This powerful and striking play has had award winning runs in South Africa and Manchester and will be making its first appearance in London early next year featuring James McDaniel.
